I have a friend who spilled cola in their surge protector and the on/off button is sticky and hard to press. Any idea on how to fix this problem?

I'm running Windows XP with SP2 and a 200MB hard drive. I installed a second 160 MB drive and it will not format beyond 128MB. I have used the Manage feature in Windows to unformat the drive and have used western Digital Data Lifeguard tools to try and reformat but it still will not format to 160 MB. The drive is now shown as "dynamic" (which I don't want) and 128 MB unformatted. Is there a way to remove everything that was put on the drive to get it back to the "raw" state it was in when it left the factory? Any help would be greatly appreciated as i have been struggling with this for almost a week.

if it is nessecary, what things do i need to look out for when buying a new PSU, i am using a Pentium D 3.2ghz, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 2 SATA2 Hard Drives, a floopy drive and a 12x DVD Burner, i am also wanting to use a Sapphire ATI X1950 Graphics Card. I've recently purchased an Integral Courier USB Flash Drive 2.0 2GB. When I plug it in my PC it is saying "USB device not recognized". When I plug it in in another computer it is working fine. Can somebody help me....do I have to download some drivers, in such case where from?

i cant get mike working, it was working on an add on sound card but cant get it working on onboard soundcard, the add on card has gone so no conflict there. i am experienced in rebuilding computers but have never had this problem. i have tried everything that you would normally try but still no joy. i really need a proper pc expert to answer this with a technical suggestion beyond the basic stuff. maybe bios related , please help thx

as i am buying new system i am purchsing 1 GB transcend DDR 2 667 ram. i have still option to buy another 1 gb.
i would like to know another 1 gb ram will help me to boost my new system performance or it is wasting of money to have 2 gb ram and stick with 1 gb.

Every time i click on scan it keeps sayin Epson scan cannot be started.
please use the trouble shootingassistant to solve the problem.
Do you want to open the troubleshooting assistant? I've never used a scanner before so can you please explain it in terms that i can understand and no i'm not computer iliterate i just normally use a digital camera but i like the pictures that i have and i really want them scanned. PLEASE HELP!!

my computer is 5 years old.A gateway computer with windows xp with a intel celeron speed of 1195 mhz and 18.65 GB and 384 memory(MB) and it also has a total virtual memory of 2.00 GB. I`m confused ,what is the difference between the 18.65GB and the total virtual memory of 2.00GB. my computer runs very slow when I go to certain websites with a lot of graphic and video images and I wanted to know if 18.65GB is too slow because I read that you should have at least 80GB.
