I set it to hibernate which is a great function. It means that it completely and safely powers down, but it also means that it starts up much quicker than booting up, and it also keeps folders/settings which would be lost when you shut windows down.

You need to enable hibernation before it can be used, which is in the same window on a different tab.

You should set it for Standby mode.
