I have two packard bell computers 1999 & 2005 versions.
Would I be able to reboot with a master dvd which is from the 2005 version. Would there be too much conflict between them both

I believe you are referring to a Restore DVD provided by the manufacturer.
The quick answer would be NO.

It may work but odds are that the BIOS signature on the older PC is not compatible with the OEM protection on the DVD designed for the newer PC.

Also to consider is the fact that you only have one Windows OEM key for installation & online activation.

Last is the issue of whether or not the older PC meets the minimal hardware requirements for the newer version of Windows.

very doutful if it will work as all the drivers etc are probably different. Also if you are using windows then you proably will not be able to register it again

only try it if you have the original backup disk for the old machine so you can get it back working

I would not recommend it due to the hardware difference. It might cause massive system failure on the older machine

Most likely they will be incompatible. The processors will definitely be different and handle data different.
