ok so my buit-in webcam is showing the blue light so it means it is installed..
so i wanted to recored a movie today , i went to quickplay and then i turned my webcam on...and i pressed on that red record button..when i finished it, i pressed stop button....
then i wanted to see what i recorded so far so i pressed on press button....
then i couldn't believe it was fast farwarding automaticaly..i mean u can't see the recored video in normal speed...i don't kno how to set up the speed for recording !!!
plzz help meee !

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could assist me with a problem I am having with my Acer Travelmate 2420.

At the moment, when I use the laptop for about 30 mins, I get incredibly sore eyes and a migraine headache. This does not happen when I use my desktop PC.

After investigating the issue, I found that the refresh rate on the laptop display is set at 60Hz, yet the rate on the LCD display of my desktop PC is set to 85Hz.

To resolve issue, I have been attempting to change the default resolution from 60Hz to a higher refresh rate, without success.


Does anyone know whether there are updated drivers or alternative drivers available that will allow me to change the refresh rate to the higher level ?

I have recently ended my long friendship with Intel processors and switched to AMD. Even though I am no neophyte regarding computers I find myself in the need to ask this question: Does the 3700 number in my Athlon 64 (2.2 mhz) processor mean that it is as fast as an Intel Pentium 4 processor (3.7 mhz)?

Give me some technical opinions, Thanks!

Ive been playing with it I pretty much got it but I scanned a couple of pics im trying to put on myspace. I have hp all in one with windows media xp. So ummmm.. All my pic from the memory card I can find only the ones I scanned I cant

I just bought a computer with the following specs:

Gateway 2000 E-3200 with a 200 MHz Pentium CPU, 64 MB RAM

I got it mostly for gams and stuff but can I run an internet connection off this? Would it be slow or would it be OK?

Alright so, my mom was trying to fix our Norton anti-virus...and she had to uninstall and reinstall...so she did...and when you try to start the computer back up, it tries to start and then it says "STOP: c000021a { Fatal System Error ] The session manager Initialization System Process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down" and I don't know how to fix that...but if anyone knows what I can do, try to explain it in a way that someone who knows nothing about the computer system stuff could understand...because I'm good with programs like word and everything...but when it comes to this I just don't know what I'm doing...so please help!

My computer is running ms xp home it has and Amd processor that runs at 1.66 gh it has 512 mb of ram, one 8x agp slot, two 32bit pci slots I have seen many cards but dont know anything about compatability. I am interested in Nvidia and Ati cards to be precise I will be using the computer mostly for gaming. should I upgrade the computers ram to 1 or 2 gb?. sorry if this doesn't make much sense ;). my emachines pc t2893 has already 512mb in one slot and their is another empty slot. My computers maximum memory is 2GB. I want to upgrade the memory but an undecided if i should buy 512mb because it is considerably cheaper or the 1GB. The reason I am considering the 1GB is because say if want to upgrade again in the future i wont be waisting any money by having to replace my newly bought 512mb with a 1GB. Do you understand what I am saying? help!!

my powerbooks HD had less than 1GB left so i bought an external HD and would now like to have my music stored on the external HD. The problem: I copied the music onto the external HD and after deleting the original files (luckily i only tried it out with a couple of songs) iTunes says it can't find the original file. if i locate the song on the external HD, it can play the song but i am not willing to do this for all of my nearly 7'000 songs! what folders/files must i copy to the external HD, what do i leave in the orginal iTunes folder and how do i do it?
