Our computer doesnt have lots of memory we want to make it have more how do you do it and its a pentiunm 3..and also is it easy to put in and do it yourself? please explain and tell us how to put it in...

You have to make sure that it can be upgraded for more memory, you can do that by taking it to a computer store, they will help you get the right memory for your computer and can even install it for you.

do a search for RAM upgrade and look for a site that will check your system and tell you how much RAM you have, what type of RAM to put in you system, the maximum amount of RAM your motherboard will support. you may have to download a small program to check your system but it's harmless. once you know what RAM to get you can either buy it right there off their site or go to a computer store and ask for it. it's almost as easy to install RAM on laptops as it is for desktops. you just have to look on the bottom and unscrew the cover over the memory compartment. then either replace what's in there or put the new RAM in an available slots. most laptops have 2 slots and usually one of which is free

there should be a plate on the bottom u will remove .. and there should be a slot there .. and u need to identify the type of memory u need first ... run somthing like the free version of everest on the machine to see what type it is then buy a module and slide it in ...
