You should be able to do it the same way as on any other computer. Just push the "Print Screen" button. Then go into a photo editing program, go to file and paste and a screenshot of your computer from when you pushed print screen should show up.
If your trying to take a screenshot of a movie that's playing it might not work. There have been instances where I've tried it and where the movie is playing just shows as a black box. In these cases you need movie software that allows you to pause the movie then choose something in the program that says export as a screenshot.

Easy look for the print screen button on your keyboard on the laptop and display on your laptop screen whatever you want to take a screen shot of and then press the print screen button once and then go into a program like Microsoft word and click paste and voila the screenshot you took using the print screen button will appear before your very eyes!

On any computer running Windows the "Prt Scn" or Print Screen button takes a snap shot of whatever is on your desktop from the task bar at the bottom to the tittle bar at the top (the entire screen).
When I write a tutorial on how to use the computer I like to take a print screen image and drop it into Power Point so that I can show people exactly what should be on their screen. I have used this method a few hundred times.
