Well, it all depends on what you want to do, with the info i am going to give you, you may be limited. If you are using a pc and you have a port for a S-Video cable then that can be hooked up to a tv to view things such as documents and some games I think, but you will have to support your own audo through the computer, unless you have a computer that has audio video cables "yellow white red" then your most likely not limited.

unless you have a great lcd or plasma tv I don't advise it cos it will look so blurry because a standard crt TV doesn't line up the pixels like a monitor, It works interlaced (think how bricks go together though usually flip it 90 degrees) this gives the illusion of greater picture quality at your usual TV viewing distance. But if you wish to still go ahead with it a video card with a TV out (rca connection so you would put your tv on the AV setting)

you just need a cable to do it. It looks like a printer cable (going into the PC) and looks like the cord for a video game consol (going into the TV) I forget what it is called but it can be found at any Best Buy or computer/electronic store.
Just go and ask someone there when you go to buy it. They will give you what you need. they are relatively cheap also.

you can buy a video card with a TV out port. I will caution you though TVs are not designed for computer use and the resolution will be low (the picture will look grainy) I doubt you will be pleased in your graphics unless you spend $1500 on a LCD TV.

You don't need a kit, Just the right wire to plug your computer's monitor plug into your tv's rca jacks (the white, red and yellow ones...)
