I'm trying to install messenger but it says.......................the ordinal 730 could not be located in the dynamic link library shell 32 dill.
I'm on windows 2000,any ideas?

Window Live Messenger doesn't support Window 2000. Its for Windows XP and Windows Vista only.

have you tried going into firewall and allowing messenger it may be being blocked hun xx or try my comp add or remove scroll to messenger click to remove and download again maybe there was a fault in the download and its not all compleat if ur win2000 doesnt support messenger use compaterbility wizard and set it to a windows that does xx

you need to down load the proper version of messenger for windows 2000 other wise you get that error..here is link from Microsoft for messenger for you to download and install ---->

windows live is avalable for Windows 2000 just yahoo search windows2000updatemes.exe it worked for my pc

If its messenger 8.1 then it's because you need XPor Vista
