I have a presario 1500. When i use it for 30 mins or something, the screen flick and after a few seconds it turns black. But the computer is still running and I can barely see the icon and mouse moving. I can press the stand-by botton and the screen will come back for a few seconds then it blackout again. How can i fix the problem? The computer seems not very hot at the back.

im trying to set my display screen to 1024 x 768pixels high colour 16 bit... but my computers not letting me change it

it will change to 1600 x 1200 pixels but this is really tiny and it will let me have 800 x 600 pixels which is huge... please can somebody shed some light on this please. my screen is 17inch if that helps...

right now i have amd athlon 3800 venice single core and i dont know if i should i get the double core. also if my old cpu was in a 939 socket would the x2 work with it also if its the same socket type? im into the new releas games and i want to know if the 3800 would give out good performence.

Need a hard drive eraser that can permantly erase my previously binned files and folders. I have cleared my bin files but ive heard there still on yout hard drive and you need a hard drive eraser to do that. Any one no a free software that can permantly erase my previously deleted bin files.

I'm in a situation where I NEED two monitors to display the same thing simultaniously in 2 different locations ( one at the "recording desk" and the other in a sound proof booth.)
I've tried a Video Splitter Cable but the definition is... poor to say the least.
If I add a PCI video card to my motherboard and use that for ONE monitor, will the other monitor work off the built-in VGA Out? At the same time? Still with good definition?..

When I turn the power supply on and press the switch of computer it stats but before windows starts the computer turn off suddenly and after that when I press switch of computer nothing happen. I have changed my main board with anew one and also I have changed my power supply with another one, but the problem persist. My computer has the following specifications:
Intel P4 2.4 512 Mb cash
1024 Mb DDR RAM
128 Mb graphic cards
I want to know can I use a power supply 370W or less for my computer? Or it should be 400W and up.
I hope somebody can help me for this problem

I have installed Windows XP.But i have not partitioned to many drives previously.So i want to format and partition and reinstall XP?
Explain me how to do this? I don't have Partition Magic to do this.So i tried FDISK in DOS.But it is giving ' FDISK is not recognised as internal or external command'.So help me in formatting,partitioning and reinstalling XP?
But there is option in XP CD itself for formatting and Partitioning,but for me it is not asking that step?
