Damn! my lexar jumpdrive have the same problem due to mine it is encrypted with security protection and i think you're have the same problem maybe i think ^_^

Hi ! If it contains any virus or if there is any virus in your computer. Also when you right-click on your USB drive or anyother drive if there is any option like " Autoplay". If yes then your computer contains a dangerous virus.
Try to format it on another's PC. For further information you can e-mail me.

Maybe you're not in the Administrator account. In Restricted user account such actions as format cannot be done.
