why is this happening?? what could be the problem??

when i turn on my pc, i dont have time to even open my folders and it restarts itself...

so please help

Yeah it restarts all the way to windows so i have to type in my password everythime.. its annoying

so i gues its a virus...

Does your PC boot all the way into Windows before it restarts? If so, you may have a virus. If it doesn't, then you may have a hardware problem; the most likely of which would be a failing power supply.

Agree it;s either a power supply going bad or your CPU is getting hot .. To check the CPU leave your computer off for a while and let it cool down.then turn it on and see if it will stay on for 10 min or so before it shuts off ( or befor the CPU gets so hot it shuts it self-off)

when you say restart does it just shut down or totally restart?

my old lab top shut down constantly cause the power cord corroded and couldnt stay in right unless i held it in while using it...............

the problem Maybe issued by mainbord or power supply. Check them

remove the ram from the slot and clean the ram put it again if it is showing the same problem. u r os is currepted
