Well, i've always been a big fan of HP/Compaq and their products, and have always had a good experience with them and their customer service. Working at a computer retail store, i see a lot of Lenovo's come back returned. I vote Compaq
Also, the processor you should go with the Dual Core, I think.

well, Im not toatlly sure about that decision, personally I found Compaq's computers prone to crashing, and I have no idea about Lenovo, since I have never heard of them. I try to avoid Compaqs when possible.

compaq is a known company to be a bit "cheap" im not aware of the status of the lenovo but i would proably go with it instead of compaq.

I prefer Lenovo Core2Duo Processor because I am currently using it. It's excellent.

now a days IBM Lenova is better. with 945 Mother board, duel core processer, 512 mb DDR Ram, 80 to 160 GB HDD (hard disk), DVD writer etc..,

I suggest go for the HP Compaq as they provide garunteed service and better performance .

i'd say ibm lenovo is better, but have you tried a dell, they can be very good and not too expensive. dual core is much better, but if you only use your computer for work (suchy as microsoft office and internet)pentium 4 can be ok.

Lenova is best and regarding processor why you need dual core processor for desktop, when u can manage with p3 or p4.

baased on wrranty issues and service ,i recommend lenovo .and for the processor go for dual core processor its performance is blazing.
