Need a hard drive eraser that can permantly erase my previously binned files and folders. I have cleared my bin files but ive heard there still on yout hard drive and you need a hard drive eraser to do that. Any one no a free software that can permantly erase my previously deleted bin files.

read the FAQs for some helpful advice but the main points seem to be: 1. close as many apps as you can before cleaning 2. clean first, then defragment your drive

follow the links to register your copy; once installed, click on the tab "Clean Now" and scroll down to "bleach Free Space" and select the drive in question. Then click on the Settings tab>Shredder settings and select a suitable algorithm - more secure settings take longer to bleach a large drive!
