im thinking of buying a second hand dell gx270 and i was wandering if anyone had 1 could they tell me if its a good or bad computer? thanks heaps:)

270's have problems with the power supplies going out, other than that we have no complaints from the users.

Yes it is a good computer, however, if your going to buy a second hand, then Dell might not provide you Technical Support in the future.

its not the computer its the service...it stinks to high heaven. god help you if you lose a password or the information of the owner of record..regardless if its correct, or current..they could care less. many times they have beginning technicians who will give you incomplete or incorrect information about your system. the hardware is often dell specific and much of it is incompatible if your stuck with going to vista. again ok machine but really really crappy service. good luck, if you go to dell youll need it.
