Is my Dell Inspiron 2600 laptop capable of a wireless connection?

Can I combine a 512 MB DDR2 stick with a 256 MB one, assuming that I am going to install them in different memory banks? I know I won't get DualChannel support, but will they combine for 768 MB?

I do a lot of Adobe Photoshop work. I also have thousands of music and video files that take up a lot of space. However, I need to mobilize my pc and get a laptop. I like the look of the HP's. I had bad experiences with both Dell and Toshiba, so I won't buy one of those. I need something that can run several programs at once, have a lot of storage space, and have a great screen resolution. I would also like to be able to access wireless easily. Is the HP dv9040us a good laptop choice for me?

I just bought a disk with pics on it and when I open it up to look at it my computer says nothing is there what can I do I know the disk works because It worked on my friends computer.. am I doing something wrong my computer will run any kind of games but it wont read picture disks or burn stuff I know it can because my brother used to will you please help me?

I tried to find the model number of my mb, but never found it.
The only thing that I know is the model of my chipset.
It's Intel 845GV... I am not sure what is the difference between a chipset and a motherboard is... so please help me... how should I update the BIOS? Just in case you need to know, I am trying to update my BIOS because that is the only way I can boot my compter... it can't run XP sp2... I think it would run fine ono sp1 but i can not get a hold of XP sp1 setup cd... i am currently running win 2000 pro... thank you all... may peace be with you

The red come back for a little while, every once in a blue moon, just to taunt me.

I can't play word racer anymore. All hope is lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had changed monitors, as the same thing happened to another monitor. I'm assuming this problem isn't related to the monitor because of this. Any suggestions?

3 days ago my cd drive stopped playing all types of cds. it seems to of stopped right about the time i unistalled poweriso. these are the things i've tried so far:


* Unistalling the device and restarting windows and drivers are re-installed
* Deleted the upper and lower filters from the cd registy
* checked manufactures website for drivers but the device uses the build in drivers.
* used the microsoft autorun fix
* tried installing poweriso again and played around with some of the options to see if i left anything on that might of caused a problem in the registry

None of the above have worked. The weird thing is that the only disc my pc will play is the Windows reload cd?? any suggestions please i really dont want to have to reload the whole system, cheers

SCSI CDROM Class
Windows xp sp2
