Does a computer or printer save the history of what it has printed? If so, how to find and print something that I printed out yesterday?

i am using a Nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4200 graphics card with the latest drivers that support hdtv to my tv that is able to display 1080i as i also run my xbox 360 on it at 1080. it is linked via a dvi to hdmi cable. it is only running at 720p. the screen just goes all liney and faded and out of proportion etc? please help. thank you.

HP Deskjet 3845 on USB port, Compaq pressario 1705 . After waking from hibernation the printer fails to respond till the next re-boot. Any suggestions on how to make he connection wake up with the computer?

i need to record their conversation , i tried recording with a head hone mic and a webcam mic but they were not able to catch their vioce as they are far from the table , atleast 6 meters . i hav the software to record secretly in the back ground but what kind of mic should i use ???

When I turn on my computer, after the emachines logo shows a sreen appears saying NTLDR is missing, restart your compueter.
When I restart, the screen still appears?
Does anyon know what is wrong? I cant use my computer and have important files stores.
How can i get rid of this problem?

My computer crashed recently and its under warranty
i TOOK IT TO MY BRO'S HOUSE AND TOOK IT BACK HOME BUT DIDNT START AT MY PLACE. SO I DECIDED TO RETURN WHERE I BOUGHT IT. I GOT IT IN MAY 2005
when i took it back he said i had a SKT478 MOTHER Board WHICH HE WILL HAVE TO REPLACE AND IS RARE NOW SO if I want the new 775 Motherboards, I will be forced to change the CPU. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ADVICE IF THIS MAN IS TRYING TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF ME OR BEING HONEST

I'm looking to buy a colour printer, Inkjet I suspect as i'm only looking to print general colour (business cards small documents etc) not photo's leave that to the pro's. Of course value is important but so is the durability. any recomendations of manufacturer model would be a great help - also any recomendations of suppliers with best offers.

I have a problem with my pc.I just could not watch any video cd or dvd with my power dvd.I could hear the sound but there is no picture.I also have the same problem when i want to watch tv usin my tv card.The only way i could watch tv is by make it full screen and push the recod button on the remote control.the the image will appear.Its not my OS,coz i had format my HDD but it still the same.I have a ABIT NV8 motherboard,ATI Redion X550 graphic card,and a Pinnacle pci TV card.

I need to open my Dell Dimension 4600 to replace the dvd drive. What tools might I need, and what is the best way (least intrusive) to get the case open? My new drive came w/ a connector cable. should I use this or can I just reuse the old one?

I have downloaded microsoft xp onto my computer which has microsoft ME. I can't find the location for the drivers for XP. I have the pathway code=\wxp-2033\RTLNIC51.sys. So how do i install XP into my computer hard drive. I know its in the computer, but how do i get it to run? I need a lot of help and detail on this. I have a Compaq desktop and was wanting to add memory and a video card to it. I would like to know who makes the best memory( I lean towards Kingston but am wanting to hear your oppinion).
I have also found out that I can watch TV over the internet and was wanting to upgrade my video card so that I could get TV quality video. I would like to stay under $100.00. I know I could spend around 400-500 and be set but I do not want to spend that much! The picture is OK but I am looking for somthing that I can watch video on full screen and still have it be clear. Also I am not in any hurry so if you think that I should wait to buy let me know. All answers are welcome.

I have run McAfee virus scan, Spybot and Ad-Aware and no viruses or trojans are found and yet i always have between 57 - 62 processes running always making the laptop very slow at times. There is software available for process managing and you can end processes i know but i dont know which processes to terminate. Dont really want to spend £50.00 for a process manager. Any ideas?

Took it to the shop to have it diagnosed and they need to be replaced. Im gonna try it myself to save labor costs. Ive changed the power supply previously with no problems, is it pretty simple to switch out these parts? Thanks

i just bought a new computer and i thought i could make my own backup DVD, but i don't remember how to do it.

i found the system backup, but it won't allow me to write it to a DVD.

will it still work correctly if i do a full system backup, save it to the desktop, then copy that to a DVD?
