you should use your bios to do so,by pressing the delete button while your PC is starting up, in the bios menu there should be a clock speed in megahertz setting that you can change, for instance from 100 Hertz to 110 Hertz, this will change the speed of the CPU from higher to lower respectively. But I would not recommend overclocking AMD CPU, the AMD tends to run much warmer than Intel PC, so add extra coolers or upgrade the CPU fan before overclocking it, monitor the CPU temperature carefully afterwords, especially after heavy processing, if applications start behaving strangely, then I would recommend switching back to the normal settings

You need to know the manufacturer and model of the mainboard then go to the manufacturer’s web site and see if they provide a Windows based overclocking utility in downloads. If you don’t really understand what you are doing, make sure that the system resets to normal speeds, if you cause it to crash. You should also download CPU temperature monitoring utilities as overclocking causes overheating.

If you don’t understand the dangers, don’t do it as you might end up with fried/dead PC.

Well first you MUST have a motherboard that allows overclocking, without knowing what board you have it is impossible to tell you how or if you can OC.
