Does a computer or printer save the history of what it has printed? If so, how to find and print something that I printed out yesterday?

In general, no. Printer has no memory to "save" anything except its own settings. Any memory it has is for buffering and page composition. PC's don't save anything once it's been sent to the printer. Not very efficient use of space. It's assumed you'd keep the original document.

A fax machine might though, or a PC fax program.
