I have a problem with my pc.I just could not watch any video cd or dvd with my power dvd.I could hear the sound but there is no picture.I also have the same problem when i want to watch tv usin my tv card.The only way i could watch tv is by make it full screen and push the recod button on the remote control.the the image will appear.Its not my OS,coz i had format my HDD but it still the same.I have a ABIT NV8 motherboard,ATI Redion X550 graphic card,and a Pinnacle pci TV card.

Sounds like a Codec problem.
Download Video Inspector form this site http://www.videohelp.com/

The driver problem just try to unistall and re-install the driver.

i came across this same problem a few days ago and my engineer told me to download 'codec' .and it really worked with me.
