The target saver window keeps popping up during my browsing. To me it is a nuisance.

If you know the source of the popup you can go to msconfig then startup tab and uncheck the box beside it

Download, update and run Ad-Aware from Lavasoft. Spy-bot Search and Destroy. Windows Defender. Look in control panel>add and remove programs and see if that program is listed, remove it if you can. Turn on the popup blocker that is in IE 6&7.

just get off the computer for a few hours. do something normal like reading.
