Computer Networking - May 2007

ok i reinstalled windows xp on my computer and lost alot of my dirvers. i have a linksys router thats connected to a modem. i have earthlink. i tuned on my computer and my internet doesnt work. i mean its cable should m compo automatically detect my internet? how doi get ny internet working? some people say go to 192.168.1.1 on my browser. BUT MY INTERNET DOSENT WRK!!! wat should i do. in my device manager where it says opther devices and theres a question mark next to it. one of the devices w/ a ques mark says ehernet controller. any ideas.

also i was wonderin how do i print something from another compuiter thts not connected to a printer and print it through the internet. i heard u can do tht

At client side if you got this message .

This server Clock is not sychornized with the Primary Domain controller clock .

its mean that client time and domain computer time is not running equal or ?

installed real vnc viewer can see the ones attached to server with network cables but not the ones wireless.

I have a Linksys Modem and Router. There are 2 computers I want to set up. Computer A is a laptop that has Pro and is hooked up wireless. Computer B is a desktop, with Home and is wired.
Is it possible to have these two connected somehow so I can work from the laptop and save and access files on the desktop? Please help. Thank you.

i have this cable around my house.. each power outlet has one of this ethernet cable... this means i can leave my modem in the basement and have high speed connection without any wiring since i already got the wires but the problem is the person who lived in this house before we bought has cut off the head of the ethernet cable.. i can find a head for the cable i seem not too sure i mean i dunno how to connect the ethernet back to its head..
the image below shows the current ethernet cable with no head and i am intended to put the head but dunno how to..
any help would be appreciated..

When ever my Internet speed is flucuating alot i open my network connections and every time i see this internet gateway thing pop up saying that its running at 8mps. And whenever my internet is running perfect it doesnt show the internet gateway button/thing lol in my network connections.
Its very odd......

Anyone ever see a problem with using Verizon Broadband and Outlook (not owa) continually tries to connect. The user can ping RDP to network servers. I've tried the flush DNS & updating the site, still no go.

i purchased a new asus aam6000EVZ1 router (wired)

the customer support told me that it can open and forward ports
can some one tell me how ?
coz when i opened my router web interface i found it all in Chinese of Japaneses i don't know it's on o the far easteren langs
is there is any way to deal with that
i need to config my router with open suse 10.2
so that it would be linked online the past 2 months i was connected online with my open suse but it was through lan so when i got the router i couldn't figure it out can some one help me plz ??
