We get this message when we try to access our online gaming for the PS2. Someone please help.

This has nothing to do with trying to connect to your ISP. What it is saying is that the connection from the PS2 to your router is not working.
Try releasing the IP on the PS2 and renew it.

It only means that it tried to connect to your internet server provider and pretty much failed. Since it took so long, it ha "timed out". I would suggest rebooting your computer and turning off your modem. Turn the computer back on, turn on your modem (if you have a router, turn that on AFTER you turn on your modem), then try the connection again. (Using Dial-Up should only require a re-boot.)
