my personal laptop connects to the router with no problem at all, but this week i got my work's laptop, and it can't find the router so that i can use the internet :S...any help?

If your router doesn't give out the SSID, you may have to manually insert the SSID into the wireless card configuration. If your router is using encryption, you may have to enter the encryption key into the wireless card as well. Check to see if your router is using MAC filtering.

Hi there - when you search for wireless networks, does your home router appear in the list?

It may be that your home router is set to hide its presence from unknown wireless devices and may therefore need to be set up manually.
