I'm confused. You know when you have your website hosted by a hosting company, is this what they would use. So instead of having a company host my website could i buy one of these and host it myself, and also host other peoples websites?

Does this just connect up to your computer?

Now I have a PC server that needs DSL access. I bought a second DSL modem and have a LinkSys router, but don't know how to configure them. Any help?

I know some stuff about computers but my knowledge is mostly on software, so sorry if some details are missing/screwed up. I have a linksys BEFSR41 router and Ambit U10C018 and 3 computers that connect to the internet at the same time and i need to know how to change my WAN or w/e address is 67.49.127.182 (the address that shows up at www.whatismyipaddress.com) and I need to be able to change it to be able to be changed within 5 minute intervals not 8 hours (i found a method telling me to release my address and let it go over night).

My linksys wrt54g has been dropping too much. I've tried every attempt to fix it.

I'm not looking for suggestions to fix what I have, but I want to know what routers are best for my MacBook with a built-in wireless-N card (either a very good G or very good N).

Thanks!

Hey all,
I was searching walmart for a wireless usb adapter. The belkin says on the box it has a 400ft range. After speaking to linksys support, the rep told me the range on their version is 20-30ft. That seems like a huge difference. In your experience, is this accurate? I would go for the belkin in a second if it picks up on signals THAT much better.

Here are the products:

linksys: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2470735

belkin:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3756936

Is there really THAT much difference? Thanks!
