Outlook requires a mail server to access not a computers IP. Outlook will automatically use your network and internet connection on the ports it wants to use to make a connection to a server, such as the gmail server.

You need to set the server name for gmail, it seems to be pop.gmail.com for incoming and smtp.gmail.com for sending, if you use the correct name you should get no errors. You will not be able to use an internal address as you have no mail server.
