g I cannot seem to download it. Is he blocking me from downloading it, and if so, how can I bypass this?

if there is a message box saying you don't have the privilage of downloading then most likely your account is limited and just ask him to change your account to administer but if you both log in with the same name at the welcome screen then I'll need more information

Your boy friend must have you set up in a "user" account without download privileges. Ask him to correct this for you. It requires his "Admin" privilege to do this.

You have to have him give your user account administrator rights. your most likely set up as a standard/Limited user.
