A network can't be infected.
But computers in a network can.
If a computer is infected, other computers in the network are also vulnerable.
To make sure your network is safe, install anti virus software for every computer that are using the network..
if you want good anti virus software, get it from norton or avg..
avg is good because they have free edition and it works just fine..
and always keep them updated..

You should be running updated virus software on all the machines. This should find and deal with any virus. The network can not get viruses, only the individual machines.
