Big problems setting up ps3s network any suggestions?

Its my boyfriends and im usually quite good at that sort of thing but im starting to give up it keeps on asking for passwords and codes...
His connection shows up at 80% so whats the problem?

Its asking for the network key so it can connect to the router and give you internet access. The network key is setup in the wireless router so if you dont have access to the router then you wont beable to do it.....
