I have a small business office with several outlets for the single DSL line. One is connected to a small DSL modem that then connects to my AirPort Extreme station for wireless connections to Macs. Now I have a PC server that needs DSL access. I bought a second DSL modem and have a LinkSys router, but don't know how to configure them. Any help?

Your DSL service comes over a telephone line. in basic terms one modem would be on line at a time on that telephone#, so there is not any element in getting a 2nd modem till you wanted to order DSL service on a different telephone line (and pay a month-to-month fee for that, too) in case you ought to share your information superhighway connection between different desktops, you in basic terms want a router. It connects on your DSL modem, and your desktops plug into the router. at the instant maximum routers additionally help instantaneous connections for laptops.

You can NOT use 2 modems. You should connect your server to a spare lan port on the airport, which is actually a router. This also completes the network connection to the other machines.

Yes, configure your server for the DSL and all your network computers will use the Internet from that. Your server's DNS will be forwarded to your ISP's DNS Servers. Make sure your workstations use your servers IP address as the DNS.
