I am constantly getting pc crashes (the whole operating system) resulting in either complete restarts or blue stop screen errors.. Often the stop errors are saying this IRQL LESS EQUAL THAN or PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA.
It then says to try going into safe mode to disable BIOS options such as cache shadowing etc. Firstly, what do you have to do to do this?
secondly, you know when you first startup and can press EDL to take you to a blue screen where you can alter PC components such as peripherals or BIOS, I set a password for entry to change these things and then typical me, forgot the password. How do you find this password out again please? Where do you need to go?
Back to the pc crashes, when restarting my system i go to event viewer and check the error logs and the errors listed include:
TCP/IP - TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent connect attempts
please continue by looking under additional information. Thanks guys
