Hey.
Recently (Today), I bought a Belkin ADSL2+ Wireless-G Modem Router (F5D7632-4).
On getting it home, I tried setting it up. The disk that came with it didn't have any setup-stuff on (The disk contained a link to Belkin's site, product registration, and a manual), so I follow the instructions.
I plugged all the wires in that the manual said (ADSL - microfilter, Ethernet - computer, plug socket - router) and the "Power", "Ethernet 1", "ADSL (Phone looking thing)" and "Wireless" LEDs came on.
As far as I can see, this is right. However, I then went and tried to get to "192.168.2.1", which is what it tells me to. All I get there is a "Connection could not be made" and tries to connect to the old modem.
My old modem was a USB one (BT Voyager 105) which worked fine, but this one's an Ethernet one.
Does anyone have any idea what might be up? I can't connect to it..
Oh, and I'm not particularly knowledgable in networking and the like, so the simpler the reply, the better please!
