also...I have a map on my web page and it shows my location along with anyone who visits the site. It now shows my location to be in Texas when I am in Virginia?!?!?!?! This happened about the same time the PC started to be slow. HELP! PLEASE! WHAT DO i DO???

Your computer may have acquired some "malware" that is running in the background, slowing your computer down.

It may also be sending spams, kiddie porn, or who-knows-what without your knowledge.

It may also be disguising your IP address, which can be used to give an approximate location for your computer.

I recommend disconnecting from the Internet and running at least one scan for viruses, spyware, etc. AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

You should be sure to run the most current version of whatever scanning program you have. Examples are Norton, McAfee, SpySweeper, etc. There are some freebies out on the net, too. They are 90% better than having nothing at all.

run a virus scanner like norton anti virus and a spyware removal program like spyware doctor . That will help!
