MAC...they allow you to do more things, like make movies, videos, websites, and they're excellent for the music program protools.
PC's need to much tech assistance and they break down easy.
Macs cost more though...but its worth it.

I've worked for over 5 years doing professional computer repair, network configuration, and technical support. In my experience Macintosh computers are great if you are only trying to do the most basic things on them. I.E.: browse the web, write papers, listen to music and watch videos.

However if you know well how to use a computer and are looking to do a little more, like play games especially, a PC is generally a much better way to go. There really isn't anything you can do on a Mac that you can't do on a PC.

People that run into problems with a PC are generally those that buy a very cheap junky computer. Or those that don't know how to keep their system running well and load all sorts of garbage apps on it.

When people talk about a Mac being lots better for graphical things that's really just a myth. Granted the Mac video editing suite is very good and Macs do run adobe software well. But for windows you can get very good video editing software and I definitely prefer using Photoshop and other such apps on a PC. They seem to run much smoother and quicker.

So to sum up. Both are good options, but in my opinion and experience a PC is capable of doing more, and it runs it all faster anyway.

There is no right or wrong answer here. It all depends on what you're going to be using the computer for. If you're just using the PC at home to send emails and surf the internet, a mac may be as acceptable as a PC. If your business revolves around photography or professional graphics or print, then a Mac is probably the way to go. If you're looking to play lots of games or use a computer in a business environment or exchange lots of documents then a PC may be the best answer. I'm sure others will say "Go Linux" but for most "non-technical" users (especially home folks) that choice can be some what of a crapshoot.

Assuming your question is whether or not to get a Mac or PC. I would go with PC. Even though it crashes more than Macs do.. (( Personal opinion )) There's alot more you can do with a PC than you can do with a Mac. And PC Emulators will chew through your Mac Memory like there was no tomorrow.

PC-
everything is written or written better for PC.

But I must admit that I love that commercial with the two guys playing the PC and the MAC. Even though the Mac guy wins.
