I would like to know how would you connect three LANs together that are in a single building. I can only think of a way of connecting 2. My guess would have something to do with wireless........maybe.

Sometimes it seems as though the real web pages have been substituted. If this is true, does it mean someone using the network has entered my domain and now has access to my pc? What is the purpose for a hacker, if that is what it is to do something like that?

I am having trouble with internet connectivity. ipconfig /renew says dhcp server unreachable. I've tried 3 different NICs to no avail. I have formatted and tried again. Windows 2000 Pro Service Pack 4. No conflicts in Device Manager. Will tranmit but won't receive packets.

No router. Plugged in straight to the cable modem. Haven't tried USB connection to cable modem, but I want to get the NIC to work.

When I plug the CAT5 into another computer, it works like a charm. Any help? Thanks in advance.
