There is no problem with the internet connection b/c I can connect to Xbox Live just fine. However, when I try to open Firefox, it always says "Server Cannot Be Found." I have tried all the basic stuff, like disconnecting the router for a minute, but nothing works. Can anyone help????

Try a repair in "Network connections" portion of control panel
and make sure the proper drivers are installed for your NIC card.
do you have a router?
If not the modem you are using has either a "Dynamic" or "static"
ip and will not dish you computer an IP.
Try a ip config release and renew.

goto run: enter "Ipconfig release"
and then Ipconfig renew

Try accessing another website other than the home page. if still, click start-->run-->type CMD. type NSLOOKUP on prompt and press ENTER. see if you get the default server, type any URL if you do, e.g. www.yahoo.com and see if you get an answer.
