Somebody told me that I should turn off my inkjet printer when not in use because the heat would make the ink harden in the cartridges. What do you guys think? Leave it on or turn it off when not in use? I don't use it very much. I use the laser most of the time.

I have a home video DVD that I made but it is 8 gigs. I have a spindle of 4.7 gig dvds. Can I make the copy by splitting it into two disks? I am using Roxio Creator DE.

I want to take the stick of 256 ddr RAM from my old computer and add it to my new computer that already has a stick of 512 ddr RAM. Both are from the same company. I've heard it's not wise to mix RAM sticks of different speeds. Is this ok to do or not?

How would one go about deleting one item from ie's history without deleting the whole history. My friend (yes, my friend, not myself), is looking to delete an item. i told her to go to 'tools' then 'internet options' and click 'clear history'. However this deletes the entire history, while she only wishes to delete one item from the history so it will not show up in the address bar when a first letter is typed etc. How would she do this?.

I want to create a website about free softwares. So i will be writing reviews about those softwares (only freewares) and giving out the link to other software sites. For an example if i write about SpyBot Search and Destroy i will give da link of the original home page for them to download. Is this illegal? My place of work just blocked all Fantasy Sports with the above mentioned Web Filter. I currently have 2 baseball teams and will have several football teams in the near future that I would like to check up on at work from time to time, but I can't because it's blocked.
