I have a home video DVD that I made but it is 8 gigs. I have a spindle of 4.7 gig dvds. Can I make the copy by splitting it into two disks? I am using Roxio Creator DE.

Yes, Roxio SHOULD Handle This Automatically When You Try To Burn Your Project To Disc By Saying It Will Take Two Discs To Make The DVD. It Will Ask If You Want Your Project To Span Two Discs, Just Say Yes And Proceed As Instructed By The On-Screen Prompts.

Well, first off you could use a double layer disk but the easiest way is to download "dvdshrink" (its free ,do a google search for it) and it will compress the dvd to under 4.38 and allow you to burn it to 1 single layer dvd disk.

With Pinnacle Studio, you can import the video, and then break it up into two seperate movies. All you have to do is cut where you want the first movie to stop, and then delete the seconf half, then do it again but delete the first half.

Try plato dvd copy or try avs dvd copy
