I have read a lot of pages about these kids like 14-18 making virus's and distrubuting them to there school's server. My son's school uses PowerSchool and PowerGrade to manage the attendence and grades but they run on the same server as the students accounts do, so are they that stupid that they may be puting there grades, social security numbers, telephone numbers, and all the other stuff the school stores on the server? It just doesnt make any sense. I guess thats why i have to download my antivirus updates each night and morning...

I was on my PC and it just went dead. I have an HP Pavilion not more than 3 years old. There is a small green light on the back of the PC that is flashing, but when I press the power button nothing happens.

There was a thunder and lightning storm in my area when I was using the PC. I have the PC and all other equipment plugged into a surge protector. Everything else that is plugged into the surge protector is working but the PC is not. I unplugged the PC from the surge protector and plugged it directly into the wall outlet but it still doesn't work.
What is that little green flashing light in the back?
Is there anything I can do to get my PC running again?

Please help.

This guy says he has a video of me changing...I dont know how he got it but he says he does and that hes gonna send it to my mom...Can he really record me when im on cam?




I did have the cam on but i wasnt broadcasting it,I was changing cause i was gonna make a video and needed diff clothes...the guy is 19...im 14.I was REALLY REALLY stupid and gave him my address because....well i dont know why but that was REALLY REALLY stupid of me :'( But i am freakin out cause he said he was gonna do it....but he said he wouldnt do it if i went on cam and stripped for him.....which i didnt.Sooo im really freakin out!

i connect to my neighbors open network. the name of it is call linksys. sometimes i connect to it, and it has a great connection. but more than likely, i cant connect to it for some reason even though it shows up as having great signal when i search for nearby signals. why cant i connect to it, even though it says it has a good signal? i use it from the same spot at around the same time everyday.

basicly i have just made a cheep pc now the board hasent got onboard vga so i purchest a apg 64mb (apgx1) graphics card (one which is just suppost to work when yyou plug it in

so anyway i turn on pc and nothing comes on screen the boad seems to boot up as the fan for the cpu start to spin

i have a ubuntu 7.04, LAN connection. ppl have told me to fill in my IP adress and the DNS should fill in automatically, and ppl say that i have to go to the "networking" option, but i cant find it, i only have like "networks" and "networking tools" or somthin like that. when i used windows, i nvr or almost nvr have to do anything with the wire. also when i used windows, when i plug the wire into my cpu, the place i pluged in lighted up with a yellow light, i dont know if that makes my question clearer, but please help! I have a small scale company that manufactures products. As a product is being built, I want the person building it to enter the part numbers and relevant information into a microsoft access database, but i want it to be quick and easy, i dont want them to have to go into the tables and change data around. Is there a way to have them maybe click a tab and from there they are promted to enter the relevant information, such as serial numbers and performance data taht goes right into the tables that are already established?

One of those images where the pc can be restored to an earlier state if there is ever a problem? Like to DVD or CD or to the system itself.

System Restore doesn't cut it cause it totally messes up an important program I use.

I pressed the said key while a video was on run. Then I opened Paint and pressed Ctrl.V. The scene appeared but not exactly what I wanted but next. After saving this, I have closed all and opened the file from My Image folder. I found only a black screen of the player not the exact image I saved. I have tried two or three times. I remember in the old days how your browser would show links to webpages you had already visited in a different color. Now I have IE 7.0 and I noticed it doesnt do this anymore.
