Your information is inadequate to be helpful.

I am going to make some assumptions as follows:

1. You have a broadband service providing internet access via DSL or CATV and this is terminated by a modem.
2. You have a CAT5 cable you are connecting from the RJ45 network port of your pc to either the modem or to a router or to a network switch. You do not indicate what you have so this really complicates advising you.
3. You do not indicate any other pcs are on your LAN and if they are working or not. This further complicates things.
4. Your oddball punctuation, spelling, and grammar adds to the lack of clarity. It continues to amaze me that people ask for help and make little to no effort to write clearly and completely and they fail to follow the normal rules of Grammar that were mandatory in fourth grade.
5. I presume you have windows operating system; do not know which one.

Having said that let's start with some fundamentals.

1. If you have a network switch and router, remove them from the network.
2. Turn off your modem and leave it off for at least 0.5 minute and restart it. Turn off your pc.
3. Connect a straight CAT5 cable to the modem's WAN port and to your pc.
4. Turn on your pc. Go to My Network Places or Network Neighborhood and right click on the icon. Click on Properties. Right Click on your LAN connection and click op Properties. In the middle of the popped up window, highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and set this for Obtain IP address automatically and Obtain DNS automatically. Click the apply and close out of this. Reboot your pc (some operating systems require reboot, some do not; since we do not know what you have reboot to be sure).
5. Open command prompt (start, run - type in cmd and hit enter). At the prompt type in "ipconfig" without quotes and hit enter. You should be given your IP address, Subnet mask, default gateway, and dns servers. If you do not have these there is either a problem with your modem, your cable, or your LAN connection. If you feel your cable and LAN connection are ok, call your ISP. If you do get these addresses, type in command prompt "ping 4.2.2.2" and hit enter; you should receive 4 positive responses; then type in "ping yahoo.com" and you should receive 4 positive responses; if not contact your ISP for help telling them what you did as the problem is likely at the ISP. If you received positive responses, open web browser and you should have your Internet working.

5. Once this works, you can connect in a router and network switch as long as you do it properly. Write about that when you have success with the above.
