Well I read the thing and still have a few questions..
Since DNS is a STANDARD that shouldn't be changed if you want things to really work right why do something that you have to put this statement into?

"However, you cannot copy a standard zone file for which scavenging is enabled to a non-Windows 2000-based DNS server"

The DNS standards were set for valid wide usage so making files that aren't standard just seems to be a really BAD practice to this ol guy... seems to be a sure way to keep stuff from working.

Since MOST DNS servers and internet servers around ARE NOT WINDOWS based why attempt to change the standard?
