No. The 1751 only supports WIC, VIC or VWIC cards.

You'll have to go to an 1841, 2800 series, or 3800 series to support HWIC cards.

The answer is maybe.

Check the Cisco web site for your specific router model and serial # and cross check this against the HWIC 10/100 BT. Often new equipment works with a device with a serial number above a certain value which means there was a manufacturer change that enabled those above a certain serial # to accomodate the upgrade.

By the way this is the way most manufacturers do things. When you think about it, this is a logical way for them to operate.
