Lately when I play games on my computer, it would last for about 5-10 minutes, then my comp would freeze. Even when I press the window button or Alt+Tab, nothing works, my computer just stopped responding. When this happen, I can only shut off my computer the wrong way. This doesn't just happen when I play games, but also when I'm browsing the webs, using other programs in my computer. Just that the comp freezes a lot more often when I play game. Anyone know what is going on?

I know that I had to go at "folder settings" at the configuration screen, but the setting to view the extensions of files isn't there with Vista.. Where do I edit it?

i purchased a acer laptop from comet in february the pin inside the charging hole has snapped off. i contacted comet they told me to contact acer. i did they told me i would need to send forty nine pounds before they could give me a cfollection date to repair my laptop. surley comet are responsible for the faulty goods not the manafacturer.

I've just discovered Microsoft Outlook background paper, and have changed the plain background to a sky background accordingly. However, my recipients (in Yahoo!) are still seeing the plain background. How can this be? The sky background was there when I typed and sent the message?

I have McAfee SecurityCenter and did a scan on my computer. There were a bunch of unwanted programs that were removed, except for one that could not be completley removed. McAfee prompted me to send it to their email address in a .ZIP file. What is a .ZIP file? The scan from McAfee is still on my computer screen, how do I put the unwanted program in a .ZIP file and insert it in an email?

Someone at my office just gave me some speakers for my computer. I'm guessing that this computer has never played sound before, so obviously they won't just work when you plug them in.
