application process and was just wondering if there is anything that I can do to in Adobe to fill out my application neatly before printing it out. Or, is it just some total other software that I have to get? Thanks.

The form has to be enabled to be completed by the creator of the document. If it isn't then you simply can't fill it in online. Best option is to print it out and either get someone with neat hand writing or borrow a type writer to do it. Always fill in the form in block capitals as it's easy to read for the receiver.

It depends upon the exact set up.
Some pdf forms allow print off; you manually write in info and then mail them in or scan them and e mail them or fax them in.
Some pdf forms allow you to fill in the blanks on line and print off, scan and e mail or fax. Unless you have Adobe Acrobat on your pc (not Acrobat Reader) you cannot save the filled out form on your hard drive.
