I somehow downloaded a progarm called malware wiped and now I can't competely remove it. It was removed by my father but I think there may be hidden files that have secretly loaded into my computer. Everytime I log onto my internet, it goes to their homepage and not my aol homepage. I think I have what is called a trojan. I need to know a way to get it off my computer without having to download anymore software and also without putting my computer at risk by doing it manually.

I just received a USB 2.0 EP Memory Mini Flash Drive. I can't seem to get it to work. I plug it in to usb port, and the red light comes on, but theres no where to access it that I see. Nothing shows up in my computer, and nothing in system tray. It does say, This Device Can Perform Faster in a popup window, but thats it. I'm running windows xp. Please help.

USB Device not recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it.

I have been using this drive for ages (Buffalo 160 GB External hard drive) but when i turned my computer on today that message came up. Please help

i already have bought a web hosting account.
i want my "new" server to check my all other sites (page by page) automatically (and periodically) for accessibility.
my site (and it's SiteMap) changes about 10 times a day.
so i want my server to get links from sitemap and check those links for accessibility. (i don't need serious Log)
please help me to set up this. (using script or other way)
i know C, HTML, and VB programing. But new to java. and knows nothing about Php.
Please give me steps to do this Or/And Links to detailed pages.

I had Windows 2000 and Picasa was the best Photo Editor I had! It had more than just the regular Photo editor features. Picasa had Glow and other things that made the pictures I took look TONS better. Now Im running on Windows Millennium Edition and Picasa wont run on it! It only runs on 2000 and up. I have Ulead photo Explorer but it only has the basics like Crop Black and White, Tint and Sepia. No I dont want Photoshop or anything just a free photo Editor with more features. Know of one that will work on Windows M.E let me know! Thanks!

I've had this DVD ROM for about a year and a half. Every time I put in a DVD it acts like it can't read it, no matter how new or pristine the disc is. It does, however, read CDs just fine. I don't understand how if the laser eye can read CDs why DVDs are such a problem. Sometime after 5-10 minutes of "working" the drive will read the DVD but sometimes it tries to read it and then just gives up. Is there something I can do other than replace it?

I am on BT Broadband and my Internet connection is so..... slow. No matter what time of day or night. I have deleted temp files, cleaned up, defragmented, disabled some of Multimedia i.e. not show pictures and still I could write a book wating for my next search to appear - Please can someone help or do I need to invest in a new computer?
