I'm Running The Beta Version Of Safari 3.0 For Windows And I Was Wondering If Anyone Had Seen A Website That Gave An Estimate On When The Full Release Of The Software Will Be Released To The Public. I've never transferred data before between computers and just want to make it a "pour it from one pitcher to another" type of operation. I intend to use most of the programs I have on the W98 machine (graphics, MW, etc.), because I have document templates I've created in those programs I still want to use on new projects because of the ease of use and familiarity. Step-by-step instructions (1., 2., 3.,) would be very helpful, as I tend to follow directions pretty well if they're specific and in language a non-techie can understand. Thanks.

i have a 7300gs 256 crap card in a pci express 4x (my mobo has the 16x slot, but the clock is locked at 4x)

im getting a new mobo very soon and am wondering what one to get.

i have a pentium d oc'd to 3.8 LGA775
2gb of ddr 533 ram
1 sata dvd, 3 sata hdd, 1 ide dvd and 2 ide hdd
i have a 20/24 pin and 4/8 pin on my power supply
need at least 3 pci slots, i want 2 pciex for sli also.

about the videocard. the 8k's look promising, but the 2k's from ati look like their gonna kick the crap outta the 8k's

should i wait, or get a new vid card now, and which one should i get. im not stressing the vid carde right now cause i can play oblivion on medium settings fine, and when i get the full 16x experience i can up the settings.

Lets say I have an internet router, maybe something from linksys or d-link. I basically wish said router had more ports, so I buy an unmanaged switch to add more ports. How do I connect to two together so that the ports on the unmanaged switch have internet access? Can it be as simple as running an ethernet cable from one of the router ports to one of the unmanaged switch ports? Will the switch just automatically know what I want to happen?

my computer was detected virus so some of my file can not open and I can't even go to my desktop. what I do is press ctrl+alt+delete to open window task manager to run my computer. So I have a primary HD and a secondary gaming HD. Do I install my OS on the primary (320gb) then only use my gaming to install games (37gb)? Do I play the games while logged on my first HD or are dual hardrives just like extra space that use one OS to run both?

I have the system32\hal.dll file missing or corrupt message as posted here a few times but the xp cd does nothing and there is only a black screen with that message. i tried pressing f4 and all the f buttons and I am so pissed off right now, my laptop is BRAND NEW I TELL YOU! please help!

my computer has been pissing me off all day...
as soon as the computer starts and the desktop comes up...everything freezes.
the only thing that pops up is an error box with "bpk.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close..."
basically aft this shows up everything goes still and unclickable. ive tried opening up task manager to see if there are any weird programs running but the task manager opens up and freezes as well...

anyone have a clue...?

Screens are what makes a laptop delicate machine to handle. Do we have any laptop with projection screen, so we aim the laptop's projection lens towards a flat surface like wall etc. and work. This will make a laptop very handy machine to handle. I understand that a few rollover screens have been developed. Are these available for laptops also ? If not available already, any development taking place in this respect ?

i have two hdd installed and one has two partition(C: & D:) another one one partition only with around 300GB (E:). most of the data are movies and music files..the free space left is around 170GB. at one time it got unformatted by itself after i did a quick format on my new external hdd...i don know why it happened...

my E: which was one partittion became two parts...one part is unformatted (the used disk space part) and another part is unallocated part(free space part which is 170GB)...

any idea about this problem??????
