Hello. Recently I got a pop up that stated something about WinAntiVirus. This occurred a couple days ago and since then I have not received any type of message like this. I did virus checks and other scans as well. I really want to make sure that everything is off my computer and that if there is I hope to get it off and have this never occur again. Right now my computer consists of AD-AWARE 2007, MCAFEE VIRUS PROTECTION(FROM COMCAST),CCLEANER, WINDOWS DEFENDER, and finally YAHOO! ANTI-SPY. So I have ran all of these scanners and they have no found anything except for tracking cookies and MRU(which I found in AD-AWARE). So i was wondering does this mean there is not harmful things on my computer? Also is this enough protection for my computer?

Hi i have 2 computers, and i used a usb wireless adaptor called Trendnet TEW-424UB . Recently i found out that it stopped working and doesnt react the computer i use it with. I try it in different ports, and it doesn't happen either. I tried it on my other computer and it seems to work fine. I also used other usb items and tested them on the old computer, and they work fine. So is there any way to find what's wrong with it? has it been disabled or something?? Thanks

Was trying to get a knitting yatn conversion chart and tried these two sites, 2.nbwtejr.info/44html and 6qbjoptsc.info/91.html.
Both sent me to window that asked if my computer was running slower than usual, could they run a check. I clicked cancel but it ran it anyway and then told me I had some trojan horses to be deleted but I needed to download a file from Windows alert first.There was no Windows symbol on the page so was suspicious. I had to click on several exits to get rid of it. Am I being paranoid?I have Spybot and Adaware and AVG.

Hi! I have these huge problem. I can't get rid of this stupid spycrush virus. I have tried everything! I have ran my Norton 3 times and have tried several other anti-spyware things. I know better not to click on the warnings though! I am not good with computers so anything that will help me! PLEASE!

I have re-installed a fresh XP on my laptop but now I can't see the driver that came with the laptop. I'm sure I can usewindows driver to connect to my wireless network at home. But I can't get the wireless options to detect/configure wireless at all. I dont need to create a new wireless network because that runs on my desktop.

It goes into the hibernation mode when I don't use the pc, but I dont what this to happen because at times I am downloading something and it stops when it gets into the hibernation mode.

a couple of questions actully. (1) how do i add more ram?? (2) is it expensive? (3) if i do get more ram will it help my games work better like less laggy and glitchy?? I have a Compaq Presario sw140???.. I bought it 2years ago and now am not able to use my computer at all..
When I start up the computer I get a error message that says
"Disk boot failure, Insert system disk and Press Enter"
I put in my #1 disk recovery and I recieve another error message
"No hard drive found, PC Recovery cannot continue".
I called Compaq and they said they can help me fix it by phone, it was just a software problem, BUT I would have to pay another $50 on my warrenty for the assistance.. I am not going to pay them more money on top of my warrenty..
So my questions are
#1 Is my hard drive broken and need to be replaced?
#2 Should I bring it to someone proffesional to fix it, and who should I bring it to that is the best and cheapest?
#3 Is it a software problem, like tech at compaq claimed?
#4 Can I fix it at home myself with the right directions?
If anyone can help with this I would truely appreciate it, I can not afford to buy a new one, Thank You So Much!

Well, I've just started to play World Of Warcraft, but it lags quite a lot in cities (even Goldshire)...

I know my Internet connection is ok, because the latency bar is green. Also, I know it's a problem with my RAM because I have 256MB!!

Well, the minimum for WoW is 512MB, but I think I may prefer 1GB RAM for better performance overall.

So if you could help me my linking a site/store that is both reliable and relatively cheap, then it'd be great =)

I understand the basics of PHP (they're similar to other coding languages) but th emore advanced stuff like classes, and connecting with MySQL I simply can't understand. I'm wondering if there are any very easy to follow ways to learn. Please don't just suggest PHP for Dummies or something like that, I've tried, and just don't understand.

I have Norton Internet Security 2006 and I need to update. I was advised to use AVG (which I believe is free), but I am not sure if I have to uninstall all the Norton software first. Plus will AVG offer the best protection of my PC?
