It might just help, since if your card overheats it can slow down your performance, getting more memory might help your games (if any): speed up load times, it can help your GPU display more realistic textures and more.

Huh? I think maybe you're a bit confused.

Your graphics card "needing 350W" means that the manufacturer of the card highly recommends that you have at least a 350 watt power supply in your computer to be sure you have ample power to run it and everything else in your computer. There is no way the graphics card consumes 350 watts on its own (as far as I know). Now, say you put a 500 watt power supply in your computer. Your computer is not going to run any faster and the graphics are not going to be any better. It just means you have extra wattage should your computer need it (like if you add a DVD burner for example).

The right power supply unit (PSU) will help your graphics card and your PC to run with better stability and reliability. BUT do not just rely on minimum power supply recommendations. The PSU would just run HOT at or near FULL LOAD (esp. the +12V rail). Get a higher rated PSU (400-450W) w/ strong +12V rail (18 amps or higher). It will run cooler and last longer. Dual +12V rail would be best. You would also have elbow room for future upgrades.

Your 1Gb RAM is just right for Win XP. Adding more would not improve 3D graphics performance.

No.. the 2 aren't related. The best thing that you could do if that's even an option is to get a new graphics card.

All sounds good, yet I recommend which you stick to easily 3 gig of RAM in case you have a 32-bit device (maximum consumer-friendly). you will no longer be conscious any distinction even nevertheless you have a million GB much less. different than that, decide for it... I choose I had that 8800GT.
