I'm running XP Home on my laptop. I have my 22" lcd as my 2nd monitor. Any of you windows haxors know if/how I can extend my Task bar across both screens?

You didn't read my question. I want it to extend across BOTH MONITORS> not make it bigger.

The way you can move the task bar on both screens is if you do the following:

- Right click onto the task bar

- Make sure you have the locked task bar turned off (not checked at all).

- Put your mouse towards the tip of the task bar until you see a double arrow.

- From there you can move the task bar as far as you want to.

- Once you have it in place then you can lock your toolbar. Just by right clicking on an empty space of the toolbar. Click on Lock the Taskbar.

First off right click on the task bar and unlock it, then you can extend it by grabbing the top of the bar with your cursor and move it up.
