Hi all,

I just sign up with sbc as isp from comcast.

I got this product: 2701HG-B
Is this product be treat as wireless?
In other words, can I have a connection wireless? if so, how can I do that? I have a XP.
I only got the change to connect with the ethnernet cable.

Could somebody guide me please,
I am willing to learn.

I have a friend that I sent an e-mail to, unfortunately he is in the middle of the ocean on a tall ship. I'm not too sure how internet connection works while you are in the middle of the ocean. Does anyone know if it is possible that he won't be able to use the internet until he gets to the next port?

My computer has been working fine until a power outage we had a couple of days ago. Im not home now and i have no access to internet at home. But before, i know when i hooked up my comcast to my computers ethernet port the port would turn greenish color. Now it does not and the computer does not even know its there. What can i do to fix this? The cable internet is working fine but my computer just dosent read it

As best as I can tell, Asus is the only company with an nForce 680a motherboard out there. Perhaps I'm falling for a marketing trap by believing that a BFG nForce 680a motherboard would somehow improve upon the performance of a pair of BFG 8xxx graphics adapters.

So two questions:
1. Any ETA's for other makes of 680a motherboards?
2. Will the others be any better really?

My bro found my personal folder on the pc. It contains a few of my best friends pics, and my diaries which i had written. My diaries has all my personal data, like my crushes and my passwords etc. My bro says he deleted em accidentally while formatting the Hdisk. But i dont think so. I checked in his recent documents(when i logged onto his windows account) . All my files were there. But when I tried opening em. there was this msg that the files cannot be located. i followed the file path and tried unhiding all files but in vain. I also found a software in his folder named FOLDER LOCK. what does it do? can it hide files? But i am not asked for any password to access any folder. I want my files back. what do i do? I tried msconfig but I dont find folder lock in the system config utility under the startup tab.

we registered our window xp 4 years ago. yesterday my hard disk was reformated and we have to re-install the windows xp, we are having problems. we cant recall the name we use in registering our windows xp home. i cant tell if i use mine of my brothers name. please help me guys.

I have that McAfee security thing on my computer and I am getting very upset that this thing starts a virus scan when ever it wants to. Last night I was in the middle of being on the internet and all of a suddon the computer starts acting up, what I mean to say is that the mouse would not respond, so I looked down at the task bar and noticed that the virus scan was running. Im the owner of this computer and I think I should be able to regulate when these things are to be done. The McAfee thing came with the computer so when it expired I bought another 1 year subscription and this one seems to do everything by it self, I want to run these programs myself.WHAT CAN I DO?

Is there any program that I could get that is free and would invert the colors on my screen. I'm looking at a Medical Database I have installed on my computer and I want to look at White text with a black background, not black text with a black background. Black backgrounds are easier on the eyes lol. But anyway, is there any program that would let me invert the colors on my screen?

Hi, i just finished my 2nd eyar in mech eng..and i am on CO-OP...i heard from one of my friend dat.by gettin a cisco certification..ie; CCNA you get paid more that anything u make in mech eng...

is this true??...is it possible to get myself certified in cisco?? when i asked the guy who was teaching these courses ...he told me to start of with Network + and MCP and CICSO..and then move ur way up..

can you please give some advise on this?...
how much whould i be spending..
do i get a job as soon as i am cicso certified?
what is the salary compared to mec eng degree??
should i get certified like may b parttime...

I recently upgraded my DSL speed to 3GB...or so they say at Verizon! I tried to find somewhere in my computer that shows the speed with no luck. Can anyone tell me how I can see that what I'm paying for is worth it???
