All CPU series are different. Most processors are about 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches square and have millions of transistors.

If you need specific info you need to get into the tech data on the type of processor you are interested in. For example, go to the Intel website and search on the tech data for Pentium 4 processors. It's a much better source of info. AMD also has this sort of info.
